In January this year, I went to London to visit an old friend from high school. Taking myself and some other friends on a mini tour of the city, we walked by Big Ben. This shot was taken at 5pm in the evening! I was absolutely amazed at how dark it became past 4pm in the winter (being from Australia....5:30/6pm would be when it would START to get dark in winter). It took a little getting used to, and also absolutely failed one day trying to work around when the sun went down.....but hey....it was still fun!
The Dark Hedges
Not long after visiting the Giants Causeway, I was lucky enough to see the natural beauty of the Dark Hedges.
I didn't realise until I arrived that this beautiful road was actually featured in Game of Thrones, I had wanted to visit this place for quite a few years.
It was quite literally breath taking and very inspirational!
Giants Causeway
In January 2016 I was lucky enough to stand on the Giants Causeway, home of Fionn mac Cumhaill. These amazing natural rock formations had me in awe in both how the rocks naturally formed this way and also how they have stood for so long.
